Review of Lady Vengeance (2005) by Phil N — 29 Jul 2008
Not quite as good as Oldboy, Lady Vengeance is a bit too disjointed and several plot threads don't quite sit together... yet for these minor flaws it's a beautifully composed film. The scene in which the families of the missing children finally come face to face with the kidnapper is expertly played, savage yet darkly comic.
Haunting score too.
