Review of Lady in White (1988) by Misty Adana B — 06 Aug 2016
Just saw this and was thrilled. It's 80s style compared to other decades of the genre was fascinating. No less predictable than other movies and it had its own surprises. Really appreciated the subplot of the racist attitudes of the people of that small to wn and the Sheriff's words that the black man makes a "perfect scapegoat.
...he's black". This lets the viewer understand that the law knew he was innocent. A common occurrence in American justice. More people need to now this.
