Not sure why this 1988 classic is rated R ... just a simple ghost/murder tale worth a viewing ... I appreciate the nostalgic early 1960's flashbacks in this tale most of all ... everytime I viewed a scene with Alex Rocco, I kept thinking of his acting on the "Golden Girls" episode from Season 1 (as well as playing Jo's Dad on "The Facts of Life") .
.. the plot reminded me of something that would have made an excellent Halloween Afterschool Special back in the 70's/80's ...
