Review of Lady in the Water (2006) by Maria D — 09 Oct 2012
The great Paul Giamatti is the hub of this well pitched old and new fairy tail. Plots flicker and whirl around him like the metaphorical butterfly, as he tries and fails to find his purpose.
This film comes on like star dust throw into the blender with the Ramayana, although all high brow pretentious are blown out of the water by mildly comic supporting actors and a script that refuses to take itself seriously.
