Review of Lady in the Water (2006) by Ariel F — 14 Apr 2012
I caught this on TV this evening, luckily missing the first 10 minutes because after recently witnessing the total disaster that was "The Happening" had I known it was by M. Night Shyamalan I probably wouldn't have given it a chance.
However, as it turned out I was quickly drawn into the plot (it actually had one, unlike "The Happening") and the oddly bizarre world of the characters. A surprisingly deep and engaging mix of fantasy and drama...blah, blah...I'm sorry, but I LIKED it! OK? :-).
