Review of Lady in the Water (2006) by Keli — 05 Aug 2006
I absolutely adored this movie. It's been a while since I read any theatre theory, but I thought the "sloppy filmaking" felt more like an intentional alienation effect, used to make the audience ponder why Shyamalan would transport an epic fantasy into a thoroughly modern setting.
I am so glad I went to see it in spite of the negative reviews.
