Review of Lady in the Water (2006) by Khris R — 15 Jun 2011

Although it comes off most of the time as a convoluted fairy-tale, Shyamalans bed-time story (adapted from actual bed-time story created by himself and his children) is a sweet and sometimes quite funnily meta movie (for example, the terrible banker who assures himself he won't be eaten because if this was a movie it would be a kids movie and people aren't eaten in kids movies not matter how mean).
