Review of Lady in the Lake (1946) by Stephen P — 04 May 2010
I can guarantee that you've never seen a film quite like this. Robert Montgomery (star and director) turns the film noir genre on its head. Throughout the entire movie, the actors talk into the camera as you assume the role of Phillip Marlowe.
I thought it was really clever and very well done.
