This is a quirky movie that has great comedic moments as well as great dramatic moments. I enjoyed the performances and felt they were very grounded in reality. Saoirse Ronan is the stand out and carries the movie and I can see her definitely getting nominated for this perfromances.
It is a down to earth and unique coming of age story that manages to stand out. It is an original film that handles humor and emotion well. The characters have complex and compelling relationships which is what makes it so grounded in reality.
