I guess if you like your movies with a triple dose of anti male feminism, then this movie is for you. Lady Bird is a sweet girl who is surrounded by men who are either cowards (her father), gay liars (her first boyfriend), a-hole liars (her second boyfriend, or incompetent (her math teacher who loses his grade book and lets his students tell him what their grades are).

Lady Bird's mom is a shrill, unhappy, repressive bitch who despises who her daughter is and what she wants. I couldn't finish watching it. Maybe the redeems itself, but unless Christ himself comes down from that crucifix, marries Lady Bird and gives the mom a brain transplant, I don't see how that's possible.
