Review of Lady Bird (2017) by Lainey B — 16 Mar 2018

This movie was awful. Lady Birds relationship with her mother is so,so dysfunctional and there was never any accountability set up for it. It felt like it was written for awful mothers to feel better about themselves.

This movie was just a mediocre story line with tropes left and right and no real originality outside of her naming herself. By the end, I felt disappointed and underwhelmed, wishing I was able to get back the time I wasted on this Oscar bait, white teenager bullshit movie.

The one good ill give it was the acting was phenomenal, unfortunately the story didn't live up to it!
