Review of Lady Bird (2017) by Chase M — 15 Jan 2018

While still a charming and well paced movie with relatable characters, it did not offer much else to the table. Not only have I seen all its elements in the coming of age stories, but I felt like these elements were told better in other movies.

It says its a comedy, but I didn't really laugh. The performances were good, but nothing extraordinary. I've struggled to find something about this movie that has made it standout or memorable, but it just falls into being a generic story of a girl growing up in Sacramento.
