Review of Lady and the Tramp (2019) by Afm185 — 21 Jun 2020

Same sorta thing as with The Lion King. I’ve never seen the original though so I don’t really know how it compares. But it’s fine. I enjoyed it a decent amount. Like it’s worth watching I think but it’s really nothing special.

The characters are fine and all but the dialogue is never anything but ok. There weren’t any clever or funny lines, or moments that are gonna stand out in my mind. The animation of the dogs’ speech is good for the most part but there were some parts it didn’t look great, though the dogs were very cute.

The acting was also good but there weren’t any moments that the acting could’ve stood out. The story is aight. I knew what would end up happening at pretty much every scene it’s completely obvious.

Oh I nearly completely forgot but there are musical numbers and they’re utterly forgettable. The relationship between Lady and Butch is nice though. That’s easily the thing I enjoyed most about the movie.

Not much else to say it’s a little better than fine.
