One word to describe this movie would be 'timeless'. This movie stands the test of time along with other classic fantasy films like the Wizard of Oz and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The movie has a wonderful cast of characters, an epic soundtrack and a timeless plot.
Alot of work was put into this movie and it really shows. Labyrinth is one of those rare films which appeals to adults just as much as it does to kids.
