This movie was offensive. What mother starts to fall for scum that threatens her child and his safety as well as hers. Ridiculous. She would have to be mental... and then maybe the movie would have been about a mental woman and her issues.
It might have been good then... instead you're supposed to buy into their relationship and cheer for it? If you think this is a romantic notion, you have no business raising children.
