La Vie En Rose tells the tragic story of the French singer Edith Piaf, being a fan of Piaf, I could hardly resist seeing the film. I walked out of the theater amazed and thrilled that Piaf had been so well captured.
The film combines gritty atmosphere with beauty and talent creating a truly authentic feel. The cinimatography is truly magnificent and the actors and actresses portraying these people, including Ms. Piaf, bring true realism to the screen.
