Review of La Strada (1954) by Mike Z — 11 Jan 2009
A true film scolar's movie, la strada an inevitable masterpiece of federico fellini. anthony quinn was excellent as the flamboyant strong man and the sensation and passion of gelsomina was spectaclar, when she felt she could not be free of him merely beacause she was weak and vulnerable, it shows alot of movement in the film, in the film anthony quinn loses his will for life which prompts him to go on the road and at the end he begins to see the remorse of what he could have done better in te past which causes him to brack down on the beatch.
....fantastic and very well scripted.
