Review of La Strada (1954) by Denis-Steve G — 13 Feb 2009
Rescued from the banality of Step Brothers by this piece of class. Surprisingly similarly themed around a character who hasn't grown up but not surprisingly handled with heart, subtlety and quality by a master of cinema.
Like all quality films, this answers more questions than it answers. Tragic tale of misguided loyalty, the experience of the downtrodden, the nature of entertainment, unfulfilled potential.
