Review of La Strada (1954) by Eric R — 18 Feb 2009
I decided to revisit this because it was being shown on campus. Its a good road film about a very innocent girl who travels with a brute of a man. It is quite funny and tragic which is a good combination.
The reason I still dont believe this is one of Fellini's best is that it feels too sentimental at times. The two key cast members are great and it still has the very strong ending I remember.
