Steve Martin's best movie, comparable to the best works of Woody Allen. This hilarious satirical fantasy is criminally underrated- not just a great comedy, but a work of great filmmaking all around.
The love story is sweet and charming, the portrait of L.A. culture both scathing and loving, and the jokes are non-stop and always funny. The kind of movie that can end depression.
