Review of La La Land (2016) by Bryan C — 11 Apr 2017
A thoroughly enjoyable musical, reminiscent of a bygone era despite being set in modern times. It grew on me as the movie progressed, and Emma Stone is charming as always. I also liked the realism of the ending. All that being said, I think the Oscar voters got it right by giving the best picture nod to Moonlight.
