Review of La La Land (2016) by Mark F — 14 May 2017
I liked the premise of doing a Golden Era Hollywood musical updated for the modern age but when I actually got started on this I just wasn't feeling it. Maybe it's the songs that let it down, I'm not sure.
Ultimately this falls flat and I think the only reason it's had such high praise is because the premise does sound so fresh. DNF.
