Review of La La Land (2016) by Chloe E — 28 Apr 2017
The songs were great, as were the dances. I loved the character development between Stone and Gosling, the story of the man and the woman trying to fit into society and get what they want (which they do end up getting) is great and all- until the end.
They get everything they want except for each other (And the characters did actually have the power to change that but they didn't.) Really? I left the theatre mildly annoyed, and ruined for me what otherwise was such a good film.
