La La Land is genius in the way it uses elements of Hollywood's golden era in a modern setting. So much vibrance in one film with outstanding performances from Stone and Gosling. Reminiscent of classics such as "Singing in the Rain", La La Land finds a way to uplift and crush the audience all at once.
