Review of La Haine (1995) by Amelia L — 29 Jun 2008
A gripping, affecting, decidedly anti-police tale of a "society that is falling" told through one day in the lives of three friends (Said, Hubert and Vinz: a beur, a black man and a jew) from a Paris banlieue in the wake of a riot.
Incredible cinematography and great performances from the then-unknown cast.
