Review of La Haine (1995) by Jihan B — 11 Aug 2009
Compelling piece of contemporary French cinema about the problems of ethnic integration in the housing projects on the outskirts of the city. Despite perhaps overglorifying projects life, it manages to maintain a dramatic complexity up until the ambiguous ending.
