Review of La Dolce Vita (1960) by Dan B — 03 Jan 2008
Just watched this again last week and feel like I could sit down and watch it continuously for a month straight and still get more and more out of it each time. This, to me, is what makes film an art form.
I love it and think it still resonates. Italy in the 1960s really isn't quite that different from the world today. The core of this film is universal.
