This movie is told in vingettes, following Marcello through his affairs with women, love, and the media. He is a good man surrounded by vapid gossip photographers, struggling to make himself happy.
Stunning performances, beautiful lighting and music, and multilayered storytelling put this movie at the top of my favorite films list.
