I gave the movie an hour. I respect its cinematography, it's gaze on women and its comment on the masculine ego...but it's boring. I know this might outrage many of my cinephile fans. Oh well. I needed more from the movie.
I did realize something. It's a porn without the hardcore. The plot and acting is reminiscent of seventies X rated films. Even those are only watchable in ten minute segments. This is that style without the redeeming ten minute episodic structure.
