Agree with the plot summation except for one little point -- backed up by Patrick Bauchau's reflections at LACMA last night -- that the breathe of the dialogue was a bit much...Could not take my eyes off the stunning Haydee Pollitoff.
Patrick Bauchau wasn't ugly, either. Even now, he's aged quite well.
