Review of La Bamba (1987) by Monster L — 07 Aug 2011
Damn! Seeing how this 17 year old kid was on the verge of bringing his family out of abject poverty and dying a tad too early was tragic. Anyhow, the film was kind of hokey and the lip syncing by Lou Diamond Phillips was awful.
In spite of that, it was a decent movie and is worthy of the reverence it still holds.
