Review of Kurt Cobain: About a Son (2007) by Josh K — 06 Dec 2007
I got this feeling that this film was halfway to genius. The obtuse cinematography was a brilliant concept in providing a foil to the sheer nakedness of Cobain's monologue, but at the same time tended to get repetitive to the point where you really needed some sort of visual to break it up.
Some great insight from a rock legend but the full effect was somewhere lost on me.
