Review of Kurt Cobain: About a Son (2007) by Megan M — 30 Mar 2008
The visuals are hypnotic; saw mills, highschool kids, fire, a dead bird on the ground, but in some ways completely irrelevant.
The bones of this are the interviews, grainy conversations that sound like a phonecall from the dead.
I'm not even a mild nirvana fan but it was fascinating to see a picture of Kurt Cobain build up that was so much more human than the typical depictions of him.
