Review of Kurt & Courtney (1998) by Julian T — 08 Dec 2011
Definitely an interesting film, but doesn't get where it sets out to go. Certainly brings some intriguing evidence that legitimately casts some suspicion about Cobain's death.
Most of this evidence is already public record however, and aside from some testimony in the form of meandering and on occasion suspect interviews from people who might have a little something to gain from embellishing the Cobain murder theory.
Unfortunately, Broomfield never seems to get the interviews he really needs to flush out the full story, and the film seems unfinished because of it. Sort of long winded and lackadaisical, but informative and an interesting story.
