Review of Kung Fu Panda (2008) by Man Cole P — 03 Aug 2013
Of all the Dreamworks film franchises, Kung Fu Panda may be the strongest and most consistent, especially starting out with this one. The action is so fast and furious that you almost forget this is a kid's film until the slapstick moments, and Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman are well suited for their respective roles. Some of the characters don't get much development because there are so many, and the villain is a little bit cardboard but the story of Po is still fun to watch.
Grade: B+.
