Review of Kundun (1997) by Ken S — 22 Jun 2008
Often maligned but rarely seen by a wide audience. Scorsese ditches the catholic thing for an all together different spiritual journey. Roger Deakins' photography is positively fecund and Philip Glass's score is one to savour again and again.
Much like the Dalai Lama's reincarnation. Om mani padme hum, indeed.
