This movie would work just because of the Deakins cinematography and Glass score. It's a feast for the eyes and ears. The only real flaw to the movie is my lack of knowledge with Tibet and that's obviously my fault.
When I was watching it I couldn't get over how immersed Scorsese was in this material.
