Review of Kubo and the Two Strings (2016) by Oliver A — 09 Sep 2016
Laika's best film and maybe the best stop-motion film ever created, certainly the most sophisticated. A pure labour of love ABOUT love, spirits, memories, stories and family, it teaches the young important values on purely mutual terms while astonishing the old.
Please go and support this movie. Stop-motion is an expensive, grueling and sadly rare art form, and this is some of the best cinema we have.
