Very few films come out today that have me glued to the silver screen with my mind solely focused on what's happening in front of me the entire running time. And thanks to the beautiful animation and heartfelt but grim story, this was one of them.
I'd argue it's Oscar-worthy, mainly because stop-motion animation deserves more respect and love.
