Review of Kubo and the Two Strings (2016) by Bassem E — 10 Nov 2016
Beautiful art direction, a miracle of stop motion animation, a genuinely wise and symbolic base story.
However almost ruined by extremely weak voice acting from all (with the exception of Mcconaughey who was average), and American style happy ending.
Judging from films like Kubo, It seems to me that Americans do not see the beauty of the natural order of life and human despair. And whoever do not see the beauty of sadness and despair will inevitably be crushed by it. I pity them.
