A refreshingly original story with a very classic tone and pace. Felt very much like the best adventure stories from the 80s (Princess Bride, Goonies, Never ending Story) where you're not entirely sure what is going on the first time you watch it, but you know you like it anyway.
Its heavy on the Eastern Spirtuality, so be prepared to educate your kids if they are unfamiliar. Great animation as now expected from Laika studios.
