This is not a great movie, and it's got a horrible title, and yet it's very likeable. It looks great, with occationally brilliant set-design, and even though the story could be called... simple, I prefer to see it as no-nonsense.
Of course, as a scifi/fantasy-movie, it is an acquired taste.
