How do you know when to use your spinny flying blade and flame thrower finger powers? Is it when your friends are being slaughtered by the enemy? No, it's in the last 10 minutes of the film when you want to cut a ridiculous zigzag escape hole into your lover's prison.
Great special effects for the time, and it's like watching the best scenes from a bunch of different fantasy movies in one.
It's 80's Fantasy Salad.
