Review of Krull (1983) by The Sounds Of Press — 19 Mar 2009
This film is pretty cheezy, some of the story doesn't make sense, special effects are ok but all in all its a pretty good film, not epic but ok. Cool characters, interesting plot are among the cool things in this movie and this film features two stars who would later become very famous, Liam Neeson and Harry Potter's Robbie Coltrane.
And it features David Battley who is better know as Charlie's teacher in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. And one character I must point out is Rell the cyclops, he is my favorite, in most fantasy films, the cyclops are always evil and such, but in this one he is wise, nobel and pretty much the biggest hero of the film, and is brilliantly portrayed by Bernard Bresslaw.
So this film is good for those who enjoy fantasy quest films and for those who like watching cheezy films. I think its worth a watch.
