Review of Krrish (2006) by Lisa K — 14 Jul 2008

There is so much to say about this movie, where do I begin? First, let me say that Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra are the two most perfectly beautiful and sexy people that I've ever seen together on a screen.

I couldn't decide who I wanted to sleep with more.... but I digress. I am so confused by this movie, as it is a musical, romance, action, suspense, and comedy? all at the same time. I say comedy because I thought some of the scenes were so downright cheesey that it made me wonder how seriously I was meant to take them.

That being said, this had some of the coolest stunt work and slo-mo cinematography that I've ever seen- it was like Matrix meets the Saint. The futuristic tech stuff was really well done too. I also LOVED the music! However, I will say that the romance storyline and action hero storyline seemed a bit disjointed.

I would have liked to see either one focused on separately without the distraction of the other. And what was with that alien? All in all, while somewhat out there at times, I really enjoyed this movie.
