Dissenting view: Are the reviewers out of their fucking minds? If you love annoying under the skin sound effects, if you enjoy juvenile antics of young men bored on a holiday, and especially if you're a vegetarian and love to see a whole turkey prepped, with the innards removed etc, then this is for you!
I got 21 minutes into it. Maybe it gets better. I'll never know.
Addendum. from an actual positive review:"I like how Shults makes us experience the discomfort felt by his protagonist using a dissonant music and long wide-angle shots, creating a film that is so depressing and hard to stomach that..." That's all you need to read to understand how moronic these reviews are.
