Review of Krepkiy Oreshek (1968) by Tazio G — 17 Feb 2013
Hans Gruber: This time John Wayne does not walk off into the sunset with Grace Kelly.
John McClane: That was Gary Cooper, asshole.
"Twelve terrorists. One cop. The odds are against John McClane... That's just the way he likes it.".
Die Hard was one of the best action movies in the 80's and stands also in all time. The influence this movie had on other action movies is enormous. Bruce Willis gave a badass performance that was his best. He owns the role. Another surprise is the villain Alan Rickman. He is one of the coolest, most outrageous villains ever. The action in this movie is exhilarating and intense with a suspensful hostage plot that's overused today. Die Hard is simply one of the best action movies ever made!
