One of the best action movies and arguably the best alternative Christmas movie of all time, Die Hard's fantastic action is matched by its strong script and Bruce Willis' and Alan Rickman's performances.
Its sequels and imitators can't match its quality no matter how hard they try, proving its timelessness. There are two types of people; those who think Die Hard is a Christmas movie, and those who are wrong.
Hans Gruber is one of the most memorable villains in cinematic history, and John McClane is up there with Rambo and the T-800.
