It's like somebody took Christmas Vacation and smushed it together with a Stephen King novel. As you might imagine, it is an imperfect pairing.
It's a sometimes funny, hardly scary but overall kinda fun holiday flick. It never goes too far into either of it's primary genres and is weaker for sitting on the fence.
