Review of Kramer vs. Kramer (1979) by Mike H — 29 Mar 2009
It's hard to appreciate the cultural statement this movie made given it was 30 years ago and I was a youngster whose own parents were divorcing. it's a well done drama about divorce, but tough to believe it was the best movie of '79, despite the outstanding acting on the part of hoffman.
his award I can buy. best picture...harder to appreciate.
